I paint pet portraits in oil, from your own photographs. I build each panel up in layers, sign it, and it stays a single original - never reproduced.

01 — Commissions
A portrait painted for you
Two formats for now, and a waiting list I keep deliberately short. I start once the 40% deposit is in, and I photograph the work as it progresses.
Step 01
The photographs
Send me three to five sharp photographs, taken at eye level, in natural light where possible.
Step 02
The agreement
We settle the format, the crop and the background together. A 40% deposit holds your slot in my studio.
Step 03
The painting
I paint over successive sessions, let it dry, then varnish. Balance on your approval, then I ship in a rigid crate.

I painted both of these from photographs sent by their owners. I choose the background to serve the subject: a muted tone, a light, nothing more.
